Allied Health Professional (AHP) Placement Project Manager
Band 7
37.5 hours per week (Job share will be considered)
An exciting and innovative opportunity has arisen for a 6 month secondment to explore and expand the number of Black, Asian & Ethnic Minority (BAME) AHP students and workforce within the Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (ICS).
The projects aim is to support and inform the Nottinghamshire AHP Cabinet, proposing initiatives to nurture a high quality and diverse undergraduate AHP workforce in the Nottinghamshire region. This may include informing career choice, understanding BAME undergraduate experiences and recruitment initiatives into the Nottinghamshire AHP workforce.
We understand from Health Education England data that AHP workforces, who are from a diverse background, are currently low and this is particularly evident in the Nottinghamshire region, hence the importance in having this role.
The Nottinghamshire AHP Cabinet are supporting this post and are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic member of our health community to scope out opportunities to increase the recruitment and retention of AHPs from more diverse backgrounds.
This will be a chance to develop your communication, engagement, leadership, and project management skills whilst working alongside our existing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire AHP ICS HEE Clinical Placement Expansion Programme team.
We encourage and welcome applications from candidates from a diverse background and we will also consider a job share.
