Saturday 6th May 2023 will see the official coronation of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen Consort at Westminster Abbey with a concert to celebrate the coronation on Sunday 7th May 2023. To mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation thousands of organisations across the country are getting together to give us all the chance to help out in our own local communities.
On Monday 8th May 2023 the ‘Big Help Out’ will begin, this link will give you more details of how you can take part.
The Big Help Out is a voluntary initiative supported by some of the UK’s biggest volunteer organisations, including the Scouts and the Royal Voluntary Service, as well as the Shaping the Future with Volunteering group of the UK’s leading volunteer-involving charities. The Big Help Out is open to all, and any organisation or individual can join in with or register an event via the app.
The objective of The Big Help Out is to raise awareness of volunteering throughout the UK and provide opportunities for people to experience volunteering and make a difference in their communities. This is not a profit making or fundraising initiative.
