Local schools and colleges have been invited to participate in the Trust’s ‘Hope Orchard Project’ on 22 March 2021 at 11am when members of the Climate Action Team (CAT) will be planting trees to promote a healthier climate.

Join Sherwood Forest Hospitals in planting a fruit tree as a commitment towards a healthy low carbon future for our children and the planet.

On Monday 22 March we will plant fruit trees on each of our Sherwood Forest Hospitals sites and we invite colleagues across the NHS, social care and education partners to do the same time to create joint ‘Hope Orchard’.

Schools/colleges including  Northfield Primary School, Holy Trinity Catholic Academy, Greenwood Primary, Dalestorth Primary, Lake View Primary School, Quarrydale School, Samworth Church Academy and Bilborough College will be planting their own trees on the same day, at the same time and sharing their photos/videos of their tree planting with the Trust’s social media.

Help us blossom
We’d love to know how many organisations are joining in so please let us know at: if you plan to plant a tree on the 22 March. Please also send us
your photos and comments, and of course shout out about it on your own networks
